Principal Limitations
September 18 contains no valid measurements despite a full set of logger attempts. Extended missing-observation periods also occur September 6–7 and September 14–19. API errors include 87 recorded DNS-resolution failures for api.weather.com, one access-denied error, and one timeout in the captured source.
Pressure Anomaly
The known anomalous pressure interval runs from 2026-08-19T13:34:00Z through 2026-08-26T11:28:59Z. Values are retained without correction and marked suspect_pressure. The rule also flags pressure outside 850–1085 hPa. Public charts and summaries must exclude, distinguish, or visibly annotate these pressure values rather than silently treat them as trustworthy measurements.
Interpretation
Original quality flags remain unchanged. Derivative flags identify API-QC concerns, negative clock skew, repeated observations, collection gaps, suspect pressure, missing measurements, and stale or delayed observations. Suspect and missing data are retained and flagged; no interpolation or silent correction has been performed.
Raw JSONL and raw ZIP archives are excluded from this candidate because they contain location metadata. The approved publication-quality flags are preserved.
